Skipper courses.

Magellan Lloyd run a series of ‘competence courses’ throughout the year, exclusively for syndicate members. Typically run over a fixed five day period (a series of weekends can be arranged) the courses are administered in accordance with the RYA ‘Royal Yachting Association’ and cover most aspects of theoretical and practical pleasure craft operations.

At the end of the course you will be issued with an ‘International certificate of competence for operator of pleasure craft’ issued by the Royal Yachting Association. The certificate will be valid for 5 years and cover all pleasure craft of less than 80 tons gross and under 24 metres in length, under power (as opposed to sail) and within coastal waters.

Note: No yacht owner is allowed to operate a boat without an ICC certificate.

The courses will be conducted on your own yacht (you might as well get used to it) and run throughout the forty week season in both Palma and Villamora.
